By Robert Schroeder, MarketWatch <\/span><\/span>WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) \u2014 Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse helped more than 22,000 U.S. customers avoid paying U.S. taxes by opening accounts that were worth as much as $12 billion at their peak, according to a two-year investigation by the U.S. Senate\u2019s permanent subcommittee on investigations.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

McCain said in a statement that \u201cfor too long, international financial institutions like Credit Suisse have profited from their offshore tax haven schemes while depriving the U.S. economy of billions of dollars in tax revenues.\u201d Levin said that the Justice Departmenthasn\u2019t used the full range of tools available to it to obtain client names, and has only obtained 238 identities of the more than 22,000.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is another example of the super rich acting against america. They force american’s to work for low wages and steal their wealth. Then they use the military to protect themselves while putting american lives at risk. They also evade taxes by paying off politicians to lower their taxes and hiding their money over seas. They use the money they steal to protect them selves just like a drug dealer would use its money to buy guns to protect themselves from the police. They pay off politician to increase their power and they use the media to drown out any view that isn’t their own. As an american citizen it is your job to police the the rich to make sure they are using their talent to create real wealth for america and not just wealth for themselves. Your vote maters much more than any number of trillions of dollars they have and you will be doing more work by working with government to make sure you get a fair share of the 95 percent of the wealth that rich people have and you don’t have.<\/p>\n
